Mark Jones has worked in the fields of mental health and child welfare for more than three decades. He is president of Families First Network – the child welfare affiliate of LifeView Group. Mark is responsible for overseeing child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties in Florida.

Most recently, he served as the chief executive officer of Community Partnership for Children in Daytona Beach, Florida. While at the agency, Mark formed a task force and led a grassroots effort to combat a 300 percent spike in children coming into care because of the opioid epidemic. This led to a decline in opioid abuse, child removals and overdose deaths.
His hometown in Volusia County received training to become one of seven Trauma Informed Care communities in the nation and was able to reduce intergenerational child abuse.

Mark holds a Master of Science in human service administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Westfield State College in Westfield, Massachusetts. In 2019, the Community Partnership for Children agency honored him with the Child Advocate Award.

Mark has two children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He has been married to his wife Brenda for more than 18 years. He was born and raised in western Massachusetts, holds a second-degree black belt and is trained in criminal justice. He enjoys engaging young people, and he has been a foster parent to teens. Mark previously served as an adjunct professor of sociology for junior and senior level students at Bethune-Cookman University.
